Rob, Aspen employee

Meet Rob! Rob has been with Aspen for 2 years. Read on to see how Aspen has helped him grow into a successful New Construction Manager.

What does a typical day for you look like?

Rob: There honestly is no typical day for me here at Aspen. I usually start the day off by arriving at the office and entering repairs into the system, forwarding them to the production team. I visit job sites to touch base with my team and the homeowners to ensure the build process is going smoothly. Then I head back to the office to process work orders for the following day. By evening I end the day by driving around local neighborhoods to prospect potential new work.

How would you describe your job?

R: Being an Aspen employee can be a very stressful job. It’s the nature of the field work, and with that being said, it’s as laid back as you will find. If you perform your job to the best of your ability, meet time schedules and company goals, it doesn’t get any better in this line of work.

How would you describe the company culture?

R: The best way to describe our company culture is work. From the corporate office to the sales offices, Aspen is full of some of the hardest working people in the industry. Aspen has been built on self-motivated people. Our employees are great at time-management and getting the job done.

How has Aspen helped you grow professionally?

R: My team at Aspen believes in me, and that has been the biggest contributor to my growth here. When you work for a company that believes in you, it makes it that much easier to be your best and come to work each day.

What does the Aspen standard mean to you?

R: The Aspen standard means being the best you can be. It’s always putting the customer before yourself, always ensuring that they’re satisfied. Even within our training, it’s emphasized that we’re a customer service company. If you put others’ thoughts and needs ahead of your own, that’s how you obtain and retain business. Aspen knows that taking care of people matters.

What has been your greatest moment at Aspen and why?

R: I’d like to think I haven’t yet reached my greatest moment. I still have much more to achieve here at Aspen. However, I think all employees enjoy our Rainmaker trips and our employee awards banquet. We get acknowledgment for our success in front of our significant others and peers. It’s nice for them to see that all the long hours and hard work are appreciated. These trips are an unbelievable, unmatched experience for a company to create for their employees.

How has Aspen evolved from your perspective since you’ve been with the company?

R: My regard for Aspen has increased tremendously within the past 2 years. I’ve seen so much growth from within. It’s amazing. My only regret is not making the move to Aspen 10 years ago. That’s why I’ve recommended Aspen to my friends and family.
