Job Summary

Project Manager for Roofing, Siding & Gutters

This position will be primarily clerical, working at a computer and on the phone at our Corporate office in Lees Summit, MO. There are no vehicle or physical requirements. This will be a full-time position possibly requiring working Saturday’s or Sunday’s and answering phone calls or emails after hours. Training will be provided but any construction knowledge specifically roof, siding and gutter systems would be a bonus. This position will be in support of one or multiple field offices around the country for primarily residential storm restoration work.

Looking for a motivated, dependable hard worker. The position is very fast paced, being able to communicate with multiple people on the phone and via email is a must.

Daily Tasks:

Property Claim Estimator

We are looking for the right person to join our headquarters’ location in Kansas City, MO to assist in the Managed Repair Program of working with insurance companies to provide the best service in the industry to our homeowners through relationships with insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately sketch and scope residential and commercial property damage losses using Xactimate estimating software. Understanding of Xactimate IS A REQUIREMENT.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters, property owners, and/or property managers to review reports, estimates, assessments to determine damage caused by insured loss.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction materials and methods needed to complete accurate assessment of damage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PC programs.
• Strong Written and Verbal Communicator to communicate with adjusters, customers, building officials, vendors, and contractors.
• File invoices and correspondence, etc.
• Ability to understand and use a CRM software to track/process claims and manage/follow company processes.

This position will be based out of our Commercial Division Office in Lee’s Summit, MO. There will be a lot of travel

Involved and could include any of the 48 contiguous US states. Employee will be required to furnish their own means of transportation. This will be a full-time position possibly requiring working Saturday’s or Sunday’s and answering phone calls or emails after hours. Training will be provided but any construction knowledge specifically of roof, siding and gutter systems would be a bonus. Certification to operate (RTFL's) Rough Terrain Fork Lifts and (MEWP's) Mobile Elevating Work Platforms will be provided.

Daily Tasks:

• Ensuring safety and OSHA compliance at job sites
  • Control the flow of people and vehicle traffic in and around the job site.
  • Fill out forms and reports on a company provided iPad.
  • Verify the condition of equipment being used by crews.
  • Hold and manage daily safety meetings with the crews.

• Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts
