The 2018 Covers 4 Others season is coming to a wrap but it can’t go without notice that this year’s program had one of the best turnouts yet. Aspen Contracting teamed up with some of the largest manufacturers and distributors in the nation to donate eight roofs to community members in need.

Our company worked with, TamkoSRSOwensCorningMaxfeltWimsattCertainteedIKOBeacon Group. We thank all of those who helped provide a great service to community members in need, and we able to share the stories of the winners. Our annual “Covers 4 Others” program, formed in 2015, has seen roofs giving to first responders, those who have experienced hardship and homeowners who were underinsured, in the past.

Charles G. expressed his gratitude for his roof and explained one of the reasons the new roof is so important to him. “I would have to borrow money and make payments on it. Since Aspen is covering this roof, it’s one less thing I have to worry about” (Charles G.).

Each spring, our company encourages the public and Aspen employees to nominate deserving members of their community to receive a free roof.

After the nomination process, our company selects a final group of nominees and then the public votes to decide the finalists. This year many of the finalists received more than 25,000 votes.

“We realize that there are many people out there who have made a positive impact in the community by serving our country, helping others in need, first responders and even those who may have experienced a hardship,” said Pat Nussbeck, President and CEO of Aspen.

A single mother and a disabled Air Force vet, a small church without many resources, a retired Fire Captain, are just a few members that won a roof from this program this year. If you would like to learn more about the Covers 4 Others program, or learn how to nominate a community member next year, visit the program’s site at www.covers4others.com.
